Rocky Mountain Skeptics
The Rocky Mountain Skeptics is a nonprofit educational and investigative organization founded in 1983 to promote critical thinking. It is one of more than 60 organizations established around the world for this purpose.
As an educational organization, RMS promotes public meetings and classes that encourage critical, rational, and scientifically sound thinking on the part of the participants. In the past RMS has sponsored public addresses by well-known skeptics such as Stephen J. Gould, Philip J. Klass, Paul Kurtz, Carol Tavris, and Joe Nickell. We also call on many local experts to speak on a wide variety of issues.
