Even More Haikus

By Meredith Lee

the smell of liver
neighborhood cats start running
leftover morsels

~

out on the back stoop
a long day of work and play
the cat waits for you

~

at the love chapel
clouds of veil in soft white light
amorous union

~

your morning glances
quiet and serene to me
air of contentment

About the Author

I am a woman of few words. Less is always more.

My brother wrote this haiku about me:

cyber Meredith
today's cutting edge woman
meredith . com

and my mom... well, my mom just doesn't get it... oh well... the generation gap.com! I am a native New Yorker, and Phoenix has been my home for the last six years.

Tell Meredith Lee what you thought of her poems!
