Dragon's Lair

By Austin R. Dixon

Chasten now your weary feet
Lest they dare to tread
Where mice grow wings and shadows sleep
The dragon's eternal bed

For in caverns deep the dragons dwell
Their peaceful slumber unbroken
I fear the world should be cast to hell
If ever a beast were woken
